Resumo

This Architectonic Project aims at the implementation of a Toy Library of approximately 5.485m2. This space is intended to give the poor children access to a place where they can play and, at the same time, learn. The child will be welcome at any time he/she wishes and/or, mainly, stay there every day during the period they are not at school, for those whose parents work the whole day. The kids will also be allowed to borrow toys so that they can play at their homes and learn the importance of the upkeeping and proper handling of the toys lended. For this reason, the Toy Library will be located next to the main schools in the suburbs of the city. The Project comprehends buildings for different workshop purposes, such as Body, Music, Craft, Odds and Ends, Modelling and Joinery Workshops; Creativity Room, where the playgroup can create and interact freely; Recreation Room; Multi-use Room; library; video room; computer room; service area.
