Results

Currently there are three major management models in college sports team: co-sponsor (45%), self-sponsor (15%), mix-sponsor (40%). And the sports team members are mainly from three parts: amateur sport school students, fit age retired athletes, and new high-school graduated students. The research covers five main fields: recruitment, training, major study management, routine management and financial management.
The main work at recruitment covers the five parts: the policy stipulated by the educational department, adjustment and supervision by the provincial management department, auditing by college, sport items confirmed by sport department, candidates selected by major coaches.
The characteristics of the training management in college sports team compared with the professional athlete team are:
[1]. Serious floating situation in college
[2]. Huge gap in professional level and ability among team members
[3]. Lack of systematic training
[4]. More pressure and overload in educational courses
[5]. Insufficient time, more difficulty and larger intension on training
[6]. College athletes have higher educational background and comprehensive ability
The major training and management for college sports team mainly relies on the special teaching plans and subject management stipulated by its own college.
The routine management for college sport team bases on the rewards and punishment policy stipulated by college.
The financial resource for college sport team is now supported by 3 main channels, support solely by college in the past time, i.e. the fixed training and contest cost in different colleges, minor specific financial support by different provincial educational & management departments, financial support provided by society sponsors.
