A message from the new Editor of Sport Management Review, Prof. Alison Doherty:

Sport Management Review is the journal of the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand (SMAANZ), published through Elsevier. The journal is celebrating its 17th year of publication. SMR publishes four issues per year, and offers early online publication. The journal focuses on current and future trends in sport management, drawing on empirical and conceptual research and case studies focused on a range of topics and using a variety of methodologies. The authorship and editorial board is truly international. SMR is ranked as an ‘A’ journal by the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) program. Thomson ISI Indexing is in progress.
