Subject: NEW RESOURCE: Cancer & Exercise: Prevention & Recovery - 163 recent articles

Many of you have patients, colleagues, friends, or family who have cancer.

Some of you, like me, have experienced cancer first-hand.

I just finished a new web page of resources: "Cancer & Exercise: Prevention & Recovery."

The resources on this page are intended to help people with cancer, their loved ones, and their clinicians find recent research on the relationship between cancer and exercise, particularly the use of various kinds of exercise to reduce the risk of cancer, to decrease fatigue and other side-effects of cancer treatments, and to promote recovery.

This new page of resources provides full citations of 163 recent articles published within the last 3 years.

As with the other pages of resources on the 4 web sites, I’ll be updating and expanding the resources on this page several times a year.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO ANY LISTS OR INDIVIDUALS WHO MIGHT FIND THESE RESOURCES HELPFUL.

This web page is at:

The page also has links to related sets of resources on the web page such as (1) Psychological Interventions for People With Cancer:Therapy & Self-Help; (2) New Resources for Caregivers & Their Clinicians: Articles, Books, & Web Sites; & (3) New Resources for Prostate Cancer: Treatment Research Articles; Links to Sites; Psychological Aspects; Books.

E tem brasileiro fazendo bonito lá fora.

O professor Claudio Battaglini co-dirige o Get Real & Reel (http://www.unc.edu/depts/recreate/) e co-dirige o Integrative Exercise Oncology Laboratory (http://exss.unc.edu/research-and-laboratories/integrative-exercise-oncology-lab/overview/) ambos vinculados a University of North Caroline at Chappel Hill (EUA).
