PREFÁCIO

Porquê uma tomada de posição sobre a Avaliação em Educação Física? Esta tomada de posição em Avaliação em Educação Física da AIESEP tem quatro propósitos:

• Defender internacionalmente a importância central das práticas de avaliação para uma Educação Física (EF) significativa, relevante e enriquecedora;

• Aconselhar os profissionais da área da EF sobre conceitos relacionados com a avaliação, sustentados pela investigação e por práticas atuais;

• Identificar questões emergentes de investigação e os percursos de investigações prementes no âmbito de avaliação em EF;

• Proporcionar fundamentação de apoio a colegas que desejem candidatar -se a fundos de investigação sobre questões de Avaliação em EF ou que tenham oportunidade de trabalhar com, ou influenciar, decisores políticos. Os principais grupos -alvo desta tomada de posição são Professores de EF, Professores -Estudantes de EF, Responsáveis pelo Currículo de EF, Formadores de Professores de EF, Investigadores em EF, Coordenadores de EF, e decisores políticos em torno da EF.
