Nowadays we can say in a general way that football has become a very intense sport, when we refer to the physical fitness part of the athletes, in fact much has changed from that football played in the past to the football played today. Over time, the clubs understood that to win games and championships, it was necessary to have a selected group of players with an advanced physical capacity, changed their way of thinking about training modules, and the use of technology for analysis of their respective athletes. The objective of this work was to verify the performance of youth players through a specific test. Participants included 57 athletes, divided into groups according ages with the following categories; under 12, under 13, under 14, under 16 groups, which they had a training in the same way and time together. All athletes were submitted to do the Rast Test. From the data collected, the group of under 16 presented the highest power values, statistically different from the other groups, while the group of under 14 showed a tendency to have a higher fatigue index, however, with no statistical difference between the all groups. We conclude that the group of under 16 presented a better performance in the RAST test in relation to the other groups, being this information of fundamental importance for the adequacy of the athletes' training.
