Incontrast, physical inactivity, defined as the failureto meet the recommended levels of physical activity(WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION, 2020),isa global pandemic (GUTHOLD et al., 2018)that contributes to theincreased global burden of diseaseand mortalityassociated with noncommunicable diseases(NCDs)(AMMAR et al., 2023; WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION, 2022).
