Resumo
O aumento no número de idosos tem sido preocupante para a saúde pública, uma vez que a prevalência de doenças crônicas tende a aumentar conforme o avanço da idade. Pesquisadores têm buscado aprofundar os estudos na busca por melhores condições de saúde desta população, principalmente na identificação de fatores comportamentais relacionados aos problemas de saúde e que possibilitam a implementação de estratégias para promoção da saúde e prevenção de doenças.
