Introduction

Liaoning Province in China has a population of 41,470,000, with its GDP for each citizen ranking of the 8th all over the country, disposable income for each town dweller occupying the 20th and disposable income for each peasant occupying the 10th in China. Considering such circumstances, the Liaoning Provincial Committee required that our province enter the well-off society in advance and achieve the leaping development. University students are the mainstay of economic construction. In Liaoning, there are 437000 university students are studying in the universities and colleges and the number of whom graduate from colleges and universities will increased to 10 million until 2020 which will take up 1/4 the total population in Liaoning. So the crux for the leaping development counts on the obvious improvement of students’ health quality. The aim of the study is to examine reasons for the current health situations of university students in Liaoning Province.

Shenyang Normal University has a total enrollment of over 14000 students. It is one of the monitor schools in the whole monitor net of the National Students’ Physique Health set in Liaoning Province. The study include students of the schools ranging from 19 to 22. The data of the psychological health, physical health, social health are from the same sample book among 1600 students.

Methods

The research widely uses the SCL-90 that researches into the present situation of the psychological health among the university students in Liaoning Province of China.

(2)                           Make a survey about the social health current situation of teaching staff and students in universities of Liaoning Province according to SRHMS which is widely used in China and foreign countries.

Results

The Physical shape, functions of heart and blood vessel, physical quality and sports ability of students in Normal Universities of Liaoning Province are better. And most students get B or A according to the grade form of "students’ physique health standard"(the scheme is under probationership). The function of respiratory system is relatively bad and only reaches the level of passing. Psychological health is also unsatisfactory. According to the 9 factors in SCL-90, there are 8 that are higher than the national normal model of 18-29 years old adults. The percentage of students who have serious psychological problems is 17.14% (≥3markes ) which is already passes the criteria of 10%. Social health level is below B. Among the three dimensionalities, the dimensionality mark of social support is the lowest. Besides, the thesis analyzes the reasons that cause the gap of the health quality of students in Normal Universities in Liaoning Province, and put forward several suggestions which offer references for the decision-making part.

Conclusion

The Physical shape, functions of heart and blood vessel, physical quality and sports ability of students in Normal Universities of Liaoning Province are better. And most students get B or A according to the grade form of "students’ physique health standard"(the scheme is under probationership). Psychological health of students in Normal Universities of Liaoning Province is also unsatisfactory. Social health level is below B. Among three dimensionalities, which are role activity and social adaptation, social recourses and social contact and social support, the dimensionality mark of social support is the lowest. And on the case list of social dimensionality marks, the percentage of students who do not turn to their families, friends, and other persons when they are in difficulties account for about 20%.
