Resumo

Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy (CAN) is a significant complication in patients with type-2 diabetes (T2D), impacting the autonomic nerve fibers of the heart and blood vessels. This condition can lead to serious symptoms such as resting tachycardia, orthostatic hypotension, and silent myocardial ischemia. Identifying predictors of CAN is crucial, especially with the increasing incidence of T2D. This study aims to ascertain primary markers for predicting the onset and progression of CAN in T2D patients.
