Introduction
Sports injury has always been one of the key factors that hinder the training of Chinese rhythmic gymnasts. To avoid
sports injury, the study on the issue of sports injury of young Chinese rhythmic gymnasts is of great importance. This
essay aims to make a survey and analysis of the issue from the perspective of training and to give constructive
suggestions on training according to the characteristics of young athletes’ physical growth, which is believed to provide
theoretical bases for young rhythmic gymnasts’ trainers.

Methods
Documents analysis, experts interview, questionnaires, mathematical statistics, comparative study.

Results
1. Sports injury tend to happen more often to young rhythmic gymnasts, especially teenager gymnasts.
2. Most of the injuries that happen to teenager gymnasts are chronic and teenager gymnasts stand more possibilities of
catching urgent injury than adults.
3. The details of sport injury’s characteristics.
After checking 63 boys aging from 9 to 12, we find that 200 shape transformation of feet happen to them, the fact of
which indicates that the problem of teenagers’ feet injury is very serious (Table 2).
4 . Features of sports injury
Let’s analyse features of sports injuries to know the main difference between adults and teenagers. Both adults and
teenagers have main problem about lumbago at extend and resist block extend waist. At neck injury neck Muscle
Fasciitis and Cervical Spondylosis are the main problems to adults, but teenagers have neck arenchyma. At foot injury
Hallux Valgus, Achilles’s tendon bottom disease and foot assistant navicular injury are the main problems to adults but
Hallux Valgus and foot assistant navicular injury to teenagers.

Conclusions
1. The consciousness of teenager gymnasts trainers to prevent injury should be raised up. Trainings should be properly
arranged according to teenagers’ physical growth characteristics and the retrieving approaches should also be well
chosen.
2. Attention should be given to long-term prospects according to the rules of human body’s growth and injury of
teenager gymnasts should be avoided. Athletes are expected to achieve their career peak at the proper age.
3. Medical supervision needs to be strengthened and regular health examination should be carried out. Data base of
athletes’ injury records should also be set up.
