Tempo excessivo frente à tv durante a pandemia de covid-19 e fatores associados em adolescentes

Resumo
Este estudo avaliou a prevalência e os fatores associados ao tempo excessivo frente à TV em adolescentes durante a pandemia de Covid-19. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, realizado com 287 adolescentes de 11 a 16 anos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionário on-line autoaplicável. O tempo excessivo frente à TV foi avaliado como desfecho. Como variáveis independentes foram avaliados os fatores sociodemográficos e comportamentais. As razões de prevalência (RP) e intervalos com 95% de confiança (IC95%) foram estimados utilizando modelos múltiplos de regressão de Poisson. Observou-se que 24,0% dos alunos passavam tempo excessivo frente à TV durante a pandemia. Sendo a idade (RP=0,90; IC95%:0,83-0,97), prática de atividade física (RP=1,12; IC95%:1,03-1,21) e qualidade do sono (RP=1,12; IC95%: 1,00-1,18), associadas a este comportamento. Conclui-se que o alto tempo frente à TV durante a pandemia de Covid-19 está associado a adolescentes mais novos, insuficientemente ativos e com qualidade do sono ruim.
