Introduction

We tried to find the key factors of the best learning style for the tennis players in the universities in China. We thought that there were a lot of factors that affected the best learning style, such as the learning style, the basic tennis technique, watch and imitate patterns, tennis strategy and tactics fundamentals, mind and emotions, etc. We have concluded that there were five key factors that affected the best learning style for the tennis players.

Methods
The investigation, the questionnaire and the statistical analysis were used to measure the results of the study. The subjects were 60 tennis players who came from Nanjing University and Anhui normal University in China. Their ages varied from 18 to 26.

Results

We have concluded that there were four key factors that affected the best learning style for the tennis players.
1. The learning style: The tennis players should be learn tennis technique by using visual, verbal, or kinesthetic senses, etc., kinesthetic sense was the most important. The tennis players used their kinesthetic sense to get the feel of a motion or shot and grasped the basic and advanced tennis technique.
2. The basic tennis technique: The results of the study showed that the most important reason of many tennis players stopped playing tennis and lost interesting was lack of improving skill. If the skill level of a tennis player’s stopped improving after he has grasped the basic skills of forehand, backhand, serve, etc., it wasn’t long before he will give up playing tennis.
3. Watch and imitate patterns: Top tennis players used certain repetitive patterns of play over and over, most recommended tennis technique was the result of watching and imitating the best players in the world. If you wanted to play better tennis, it was necessary that you watched and imitated the technique of the best tennis players.
4. Set goals for every practice: You should be have a clear purpose for every tennis drill, and do you best to attain the goals and finish the task. If you didn’t focus your attention on the goals, it was easy to waste your time.
5. Controlling your mind and emotions under pressure: Tennis is a mind game. We thought that physical competencies, emotional competencies, and mental competencies that served mechanical precision under pressure. It was the most important that you should be focusing your attention on footwork, position and shot.

Discussion/ Conclusions

We thought that if you wanted to improve your tennis technique, you should be concentrate on improving your basic tennis technique by watching and imitating the world-class tennis technique and practiced them by playing with all types of players and focusing your attention on footwork, position and stroke under pressure.
