Um estudo sobre o lazer de indivíduos que praticam atividade física: testando um modelo estrutural do tédio à felicidade

Resumo
O objetivo deste estudo é examinar as relações estruturais entre os níveis de tédio, satisfação, envolvimento e felicidade de indivíduos que praticam atividade física em seu tempo de lazer.
Metodologia/abordagem: O grupo amostral, coletado entre maio e julho de 2023 por meio do modelo de pesquisa relacional, foi selecionado pelo método de amostragem aleatória simples (n = 646). O modelo conceitual desenvolvido para este estudo foi testado por meio de análise de caminhos no âmbito da Modelagem de Equações Estruturais (SEM).
Originalidade/relevância: Este estudo aborda uma lacuna teórica no tratamento fragmentado das experiências de lazer. Modelos holísticos que integrem tédio, envolvimento, satisfação e felicidade ainda são limitados. O estudo busca fornecer uma compreensão mais abrangente dos processos psicológicos na atividade física de lazer.
Principais resultados: No estudo, verificou-se que a percepção de tédio dos indivíduos que praticam atividade física no lazer foi baixa (2,58±0,59), enquanto os níveis de satisfação (3,66±0,60), envolvimento (3,45±0,73) e felicidade (3,52±0,66) foram elevados. De acordo com os resultados, o tédio no lazer prediz negativamente a felicidade (β = -0,110, IC 95% [-0,192, -0,027], p < .01). Além disso, a satisfação e o envolvimento no lazer desempenharam um papel mediador em série significativo na relação entre tédio e felicidade (β = -0,018, IC 95% [-0,036, -0,004], p < .05).
Contribuições teóricas/metodológicas: Este estudo contribui teoricamente ao integrar tédio, participação, satisfação e felicidade em um modelo estrutural holístico das experiências de lazer, e mostra que o efeito negativo do tédio no lazer sobre a felicidade é atenuado pela influência combinada do envolvimento e da satisfação.
