Laercio

Announcing a New Podcast fromTeacher Education and Special Education

Listen to the TESE podcast on the School-to-Prison Pipeline!
In this podcast, special editors David E. Houchins and Margaret E. Shippen discuss the November 2012 issue of TESE, focused on the school-to-prison pipeline in which they argue that the special education institutions of the past are eerily similar to current juvenile justice facilities. Through the issue and podcast they hope to give readers a better understanding of the connection between school, community, and incarnation while helping to prepare teachers and professional to make a difference in the lives of the youths stuck in the school-to-prison pipeline.
