Bolt’s 100m World record analysed every 20 metres - Biomechanics Project, Berlin 2009

Berlin, Germany - The German IAAF Member Federation, DLV, in cooperation with the IAAF is carrying out a major Biomechanics Project during the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, Berlin, Germany (15 – 23 August).

The project is exceptionally proud to bring the world the detailed analysis of Usain Bolt’s 9.58 sec World 100m record* last night (16).

The World record and the runs of Bolt’s opponents are broken down every 20 metres, and the new World champion can be seen to have got away very well and have been in the lead after the first 20 metres.
