Athletic Training Clinical Assistant Professor

Applications and nominations are invited for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Kinesiology to serve as the Clinical Education Coordinator of a new entry–level Master of Science in Athletic Training Program in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate in a field closely related to athletic training and be a BOC certified athletic trainer. Expectations include: an understanding of clinical education requirements of CAATE athletic training programs; recruiting and mentoring a diverse student population; teach graduate classes in the Athletic Training Education Program; and maintain a record of scholarship in athletic training and sports medicine necessary to maintain Associate Member or Member Graduate Faculty status. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
