The following is a CALL FOR NOMINATIONS to the Editorial Board for NASSM’s Sport Management Education Journal (SMEJ). The Sport Management Education Journal is a refereed publication of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM). The Sport Management Education Journal advances the body of knowledge in pedagogy as it relates to sport management education and disseminates knowledge about sport management courses, curricula, and teaching. Manuscripts address a wide range of issues concerning graduate and undergraduate education such as: curriculum planning, curriculum design, future employment requirements, trends and their impacts, course content, fieldwork, internships, experiential learning, teaching methods, accreditation, community education, and tenure and promotion. Manuscripts based on conceptual, philosophical, and empirical inquiry are considered for publication. The Journal also publishes case studies, educational reviews, essays, dialogues, & interviews, and exemplary contributions via its Pedagogical Innovations section.
 
Editorial Board members serve a three year term. Primary responsibilities of board members are to work with the Managing and Associate Editors to review assigned manuscripts within time limits specified, provide input on additional journal components (i.e., book reviews, teaching case studies, invited papers, etc.), and provide input on the implementation and modification of the journal's policies and procedures. The annual SMEJ Editorial Board meeting is held at the NASSM Conference each year, and all Editorial Board members are expected to attend.
