Dear Sport Management Colleagues:

I would like to inform you that in an effort to further facilitate the development of the World Association for Sport Management (WASM), Professor Noah Hsu and colleagues at the Aletheia University in Taiwan are organizing the 2012 Global Sport Management Summit. The Summit will be held on April 28-29, 2012, on the beautiful campus of the Aletheia University that is located in Danshui District, New Taipei City. Please see link: http://2012gsms.sport.au.edu.tw. Abstract submissions for both oral and poster presentations are due on March 30, 2012.

Last year, over 500 scholars, administrators, professionals, or students representing all six continental/regional sport management associations, as well as many countries and institutions, attended the 2011 Summit. It was truly an exciting and successful event; we had a wonderful time together and surely made a lot of friends. I look forward to seeing many last year’s attendees at this year Summit and most importantly, meeting new friends who attend the Summit for the first time. Let us have some fun at the 2012 Global Sport Management Summit!
