Dear NASSM colleagues,
 
I’m writing to let you know of a new site that may be of interest, particularly as a resource for those who teach courses covering social issues in sport. The site is titled “Engaging Sports” and is intended to help bring sociology of sport scholarship to a public audience:

Because the articles on Engaging Sports are written with a focus on being accessible to a general audience, they can serve as a useful complement to other traditional class material (e.g., textbooks, journal articles). Hopefully, Engaging Sports can play a role in helping expose students to social issues in sport in an accessible and timely way.
