Resumo

Despite small-sided games (SSG´s) have been widely investigated in different team sports, major studies have not considered the effectiveness of actions performed and the rates of players’ participation in these training tasks according to their ages or skills. In this sense, further studies are needed to understand the impact of SSG´s manipulations in the behaviour of players with different ages and skill levels, especially in futsal, since there is a lack of knowledge about how these variables could affect training task design and adjustment.
