Olympic Games and the Modern Sports are results of Renaissance and The Industrial Revolution. Olympic Games produced the forms and the contents of the Modern Sports. These are suit for industrial society’s needs. It also finished the changes from folk custom sports to popular and international sports. But it stays aristocratic character on management and running forms.
After the Second World War, Olympic Games had a great chance to develop, but also met unprecedented.
Shamarache’s reform about Olympic Games and Modern Sports got rid of the patrician management frame, and was fit for management and running character of industrial society. The International Olympic Committee showed its modernity and democratic character.
Salt Lake’s bribery election, doping event or other scandal, reflected the difficult position of Olympic Games. The fact is the Modern Sports met crisis when it changed into back-Modern Sports.

1.The development of Olympic Games had changed the Modern Sports’ fundamental posture: in 20th century, Olympic Games instead of school P.E., became a pioneer of Modern Sports.
2. Olympic Games is the great impulse of globalization and scientific sports.
3. The progress of globalized Sports with disappearance of traditional sports, many national sports were slighted and even disappear in this progress.
4. The task of 21st century Olympic Games is that accomplish the changes into back-Modern Sports, and promotes Modern Sport’s development, communication and cooperation on civilization and sports.
